Honestly this discourse happens with each new pokemon game. The "I want to go on a media blackout so I can be surprised" versus the "I want to know ahead of time for the sake of team building."

Personally I do gall into the latter camp but I "get" it.

So I got a love/hate relationship with Re:Zero. I've always found Re:Zero to be one of those types of isekais that likes to have its cake and eat it too when it comes to its commentary on otakudom. So it makes it all the more shocking to me that Regulus is one of my favorite written antagonists.
