Look of a writer bartender who couldn't sleep last night (or the night before) and has 50k words and (may have finally) figured out the structure on this draft of the novel. Writing hasn't been as linear as I'd like it to be, but it's great to be putting words back on the page again.

Happy Dia de los Muertos to all those who celebrate. And a gentle reminder that one of the most targeted groups in our current regime/country/whatever, are Latines. Last week, the paper wrote about the dearth of Latine events in NO this year some due to lack of funding, some due to fear of targeting
