Yesterday, millions of us reasserted the “We” in "We the people."

We gained strength from our solidarity. We celebrated our numbers and our power.

We will be steadfast. We will not cower to a dictator.

We will win.

At yesterday's protests in Atlanta, police arrested the respected journalist Mario Guevara—clearly ID'd as press and, crucially, known for tirelessly documenting ICE abuses—for livestreaming their crackdown.

He was booked on charges of "obstruction" and "pedestrian walking on or along" a roadway.

I didn’t believe this, but looked for myself. Two headlines about the parade … and zero about two percent of all Americans taking to the streets yesterday to protest Trump.
I count 49 news headlines on the NYT mobile app home page right now, not including opinion, sports or cooking. None of them are about the massive protests yesterday.
