Something to think about before holiday gatherings
Newborns cannot get vaccinated for whooping cough until they are two months old.
So it is up to adults who plan to be around newborns to get those Tdap shots—and new parents need to encourage family members who plan to be around a newborn to get Tdap shots, too.

So ive been after this one import figure. So far there havent been any in the US available & none of the listings from China/Japan are selling. Yesterday I was commisersting w a Chinese ebay seller about our BS tarriffs. Today one showed up in the US for 250$ more & has SO MANY VIEWS this sucks.

If youre gonna obsess over one character & draw them over & over at least choose one that is ridiculously complicated and entirely out of your artistic wheelhouse so you level up in the process 🥲

I get that the "career path" post is engagement bait from some recruiting center but seeing so many people posting their life journey on my feed rn is fascinating. You guys are all amazing and have done so many cool things! Just because we didnt end up where we expected doesnt mean we failed.

What might be my favourite fossil has been just published by Kiat et al. 2025. Years ago I saw a pic of this Anchiornis specimen in nat geo article and I audibly gasped.preserving not only the feathers but also the original patterns as well. I made this drawing on the spot. Maybe its time to do v2.0

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

Not a word of this is true. Absolutely devastating to see on the CDC's own site. I'm not sure the US scientific community can recover from this regime within my lifetime and it hurts me deeply.
