Yesterday’s Swiss Roll, cooling. Surprisingly easy, though glad I did the test cook. Trick is not to over bake, which I did ever so slightly & let completely cool.

Hubs made the Rosa Parks Featherlite Pancakes for the first time this morning. Yum!!! I’m going to attempt my first Swiss Roll today so I have time to decide a different dessert if needed. Wish me luck!

We’re hosting Christmas Eve this year. Providing all food so Tues & Wed are going to be unavoidably busy, but…since I’ve been doing cleaning as I go, today & tomorrow shouldn’t be so bad. Floors, bathrooms, and misc order now. Kitchen is ongoing from here on out. Yay me!

24 bags of leaves yesterday. Man, I hurt this morning. Hubs said I didn’t have to kill myself doing it, but it’s supposed to rain most of today. Leaves were already wet underneath. More rain makes them heavier. Didn’t want bags disintegrating, either. He gets to cut/mulch all by himself, though.

I wish the rest of the neighborhood would do some lawn maintenance. We just did massive raking (15 bags, completely full & squished tight, only front yard), it’s almost time to do it again. Kicker? *We don’t have trees in our front yard.* Back yard is today-4 trees there. I’m guessing another 10-12.
