I did a bunch of home improvements over the summer. This one got a lot of positive feedback from visitors. Just wondering where to put all the other guitars now. (Hint: One of them is a Steinberger bass that won’t hang like this)

It’s also my favorite example of what can go wrong when humans are removed from the point of engagement, which is ironic given that humans are still have to be at either end of the chain.

The one thing about LLM products that I don’t really get is the premise that they take away the labor of writing. I love writing, be it words or code. Yes I struggle sometimes - But when I make it through to the other side, omg DOPAMINE. If something else does that task I feel nothing.

Yeah! I used to see it in bars in Spain. The first time I saw Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit I was in a bar in Spain. Then I went to university and there was a cable/tel deal for students that we tried out, and that’s when I got into having MTV on in the background.

Wow. MTV is shutting down its remaining music channels by the end of this year. It seems wild to me, but to be honest I haven’t had it on in years. In the Netherlands it was public cable, but in the UK I’ve have to pay Murdoch. In Sweden it didn’t come with my broadband deal. 🤷‍♀️

These AI tech companies want to take your fishing rod away from you and sell you dodgy looking fish at an introductory subscription price that doesn’t even begin to cover the running costs of their trawler fleet. But hey, so long as people keep betting on how big the fleet grows, I guess we’re fine.

My regular hummus cafe owner has had his parents’ work visas denied renewal because the immigration office think they don’t really work. They do - for their son. If you live in the Malmo area and feel the sense of injustice, there’s a petition you can sign.

As someone that doesn’t make enough dopamine naturally, it’s quite something to listen to a new NIN album, realize it’s on point, and then suddenly feel like a human being for half an hour. I’m crying with joy rn. Whatever I may think about the new Tron movie, this album is enough. NIN is enough.
