And because here in Alberta the police investigate the police - he will either be found to have not committed a criminal offense OR he will be found to have committed a criminal offense, but the police will chose not to charge him.

Well thats fucking terrifying. I knew about Project 2025 - I didn't realize just how directly and expressly Trump is following the plan.
This is going to backfire. The UCP are going to try to spin this with "look how much we are spending to support families when the teachers wont". What swill happen is questions why the UCP wont support education with the same amount.

My kid and I just watched Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame for the first time. Holy crap that was a lot. We paused the movie after Frollos song to talk about obsession, SA, stalking, and consent. There were a lot of political parallels to the US as well. Not the Sunday Night Disney I was expecting!
