We have a small national park here in Bradenton Fl, DeSoto National Memorial. It’s small but beautiful along the Manatee River where my dog loves to walk. The small ranger/gift shop was damaged by hurricanes 2 years ago, still not fixed. But we can build a $400 million fucking ballroom.

It is really getting to be frustrating. We are watching our democracy being stripped away and destroyed. There are no guardrails for the current administration. A neutered Congress and a corrupt SC. I rage but overall feel so helpless. If the midterms happen this year, we need to make Congress blue.

If these losers are actually paying $1 billion to join trump’s Peace Board, the US taxpayers have the right to know exactly where each penny goes and what it is used for. Think we’ll ever find out?

We watched the last couple episodes of Stranger Things tonight from Season 5. We’ve watched every season. Damn good show for some rest from all the other BS going on.

I don’t say this lightly, but if trump cancels the midterm elections, there should be a rebellion in this country against the fascist state. Our Congress and courts are useless. We would be the only ones left to “fix” this problem. I pray it does not come to this.

Venezuela has a lot of oil, this is true. How can anyone think getting this oil for ourselves is going to benefit any of us regular citizens? The only people who will benefit are the oil companies. It’s the same BS the admin used to justify tariffs. It is a rogue administration.

I’m sure MAGA and the gun nuts would disagree, but in theory, taking up arms against the tyrannical trump admin is exactly what the founding fathers wrote the 2nd Amendment for, especially if Congress and the courts are too weak to do anything. Just sayin…

The No Kings rallies are fantastic. Cheers to everyone who is standing up to fascism. It will not affect trump, who is too narrcistic. But every GOP legislator who doesn’t have their head up trump’s ass should worry about their job next year. This is a wake up call. The people have had enough.
