i have never driven far enough to have to get on the freeway, and it's not really MY car in the strictest sense, but my mom likely has covid and i may have to drive myself to work tomorrow and i am so, so fucking anxious i'm on the verge of tears

one of the hardest lessons i'm still trying to learn is that it's okay to be selfish and take time for myself, even if i let someone down by doing so... because in the end, if i end up breaking myself then they'll just be even more disappointed
