i am begging screenwriters to stop using shitty AI generated stills to promote their spec scripts

if you can't afford to pay an artist to make you one, that's fine, but don't use a program that steals other artists' work to try to make your own work stand out

it's a huge double standard

If you’re outspoken against using AI for screenwriting or coverage, maybe don’t turn around and use it for your posters or self-made proof of concept trailers... 🤷🏻‍♀️

For me the posters are an immediate turn-off.

And I can't help my first thought being, "Did they have AI generate the screenplay too?" which is maybe not the effect they're going for.
