I know nostalgia for Blockbuster is a thing. I don’t really remember it that way. I remember it having fewer movies than the stores I went to as a kid. But I worked at Blockbuster when I was 17.

Here are some things that happened while I was there.

I remember when Bandcamp got bought and there was panic (justified) that it would lose its grip as an artist and fan first music retailer, but it holds strong.

We've tried nothing and we're all out of ideas man!

CNN guy: Donald, do you think you need to cool it with the inflammatory gestures to help take down the temperature a bit?
Bless the Ford worker who called Donald Trump a pedophile protector to his face today, which made President Pedo Protector throw up his tiny middle finger.

Dude perfectly sized to be shot out of a cannon should be careful when calling people cannon fodder
Rep. Lieu: “Greg Bovino last night made a post that essentially called protesters, ‘cannon fodder.’ He needs to delete that post, or he needs to resign…If Greg Bovino and the administration doesn't turn down the rhetoric, it's going to cause more people to get killed.”

This article speaks some honest and blunt about the future of heavy oil in an electrifying world. Canadians are not being told this nearly enough. calgaryherald.com/opinion/colu...
Opinion: Alberta’s oil economy has 10 years before electric takes over. It’s time to invest in the future.

Say what you want about Scott Adams (for example, that he’s a huge shitbag), but he’ll leave a great legacy behind.

Unfortunately for him, that great legacy is Kaleb Horton’s, but he should be happy to know he contributed in some small way.
