The more people you can get to campaign for democratic or progressive candidates the better. Whether the race they’re highlighting is for town council or US senate, it’s still important . Not everyone is motivated by the same things to show up on Election Day.

Yes! My rural atea had the most Dem candidates for county legislature ever. We added 5 new seats! Deep red. But we are making a difference. No place is hopeless. Right @hornish.bsky.social and @piperformissouri.bsky.social ?
Imo we really let people off the hook unjustly when we don’t attempt to campaign in certain places. I feel like we need to set the expectation that Americans should not be voting for the GOP anytime or anywhere.

I spent a bit of my evening on the Capitol thinking how easy it was for Trump to return to office after January 6. Then I passed by the statue of Jefferson Davis in Statuary Hall by the House of Representatives and everything made sense.

This is the way forward. LC, and others like it, are going to have to replace legacy media. Their work is incredibly insightful and important.

My one real comment on the Jan 6 5 yr anniversary is that it was carried out by rich people. The poor hick stereotype is incorrect. It was rich people, suburban millionaires and their backers. We know this from who was arrested. It cost money to go to DC, stay at fancy hotels, fund this, etc.

My garage door app doesn’t work. Garage door works fine, using the wall opener but the fact that I can’t get the app to work is just consuming every waking moment. I hate having this type of needless obsessiveness. It’s literally impossible for me to just ”let it go.” My day‘s shot. Gonna take a nap
