@zackpolanski.bsky.social on #bbcqt: "The immigrants haven't caused austerity."

"The same Thatcherite policies that you and your party support and the Conservative are what have caused the devastation in this country."

Weird how immigration dominates every headline.

Graphic. Cut out of Zack Polanski saying " Zia, do you ever think immigration is the number one problem because you spend a lot of time spreading misinformation and fear?" In speech bubble. Cut out of Zia Yusuf from Reform below.

Baroness Mone's company got £122 million for faulty PPE while NHS staff risked their lives.

More than 80,000 have signed our petition to remove her from the Lords.

So refreshing to see someone challenge the smug, nasty Reform narrative

I could watch Zack Polanski utterly wreck Zia Yusuf ALL DAY LONG.

And water is a natural monopoly, we can't have competition, so we need public ownership - normal in 9/10 countries around the world

Here's why we can afford it, starting with Thames Water dieterhelm.co.uk/publications...

Astonishing advance by the Greens, astonishing implosion of Labour. When will Starmer's government get the message that it is destroying its base with deeply unpopular, rightwing policies?

By chasing Reform, it legitimises the far right while delegitimising itself.
zackpolanski.bsky.social
Latest poll puts Greens just two points behind Labour. When I said we weren't here to be disappointed in Labour but to replace them, I meant it.

Join us and let's make hope normal again.

Poll from find out now showing greens on 15 and labour and Tories on 17. Reform on 32.

Zack Polanski is fighting the good fight tonight.

It’s worse than that. Labour frustrated efforts and said they wouldn’t nationalise… for many months.

Now the situation is much worse. Shareholders lapped up profits then drove the company into the ground & wouldn’t help balance books.

They should face bankruptcy and zero compensation.
dailycorruption.bsky.social
Gotta pay for Thames Waters’ bankruptcy £ and ejection of millions more to shareholders somehow

It should have been dealt with years ago. But Tories. Oh and

**checks notes*** was frustrated and delayed by Labour last/this year.

Vote Green 💚 for public water and ending the rip off.

Another day, another water price hike.

Yes, these are new increases.

By 2030 you’ll be paying an average of 35% more for your privately-owned & polluted water.

Sign below if you think it’s time for water to be publicly owned.

More water bills rises announced today, on top of those already planned.

Privatisation without competition, arguably the worst of both worlds

Not only are we at record numbers of members and growing every day - this is our highest ever poll rating.

We're just getting started.

This is the politics of the 99% Vs the 1% for a country we can all afford to live in - plenty of room to grow.

Good to see the Conservative Party committed to keeping the deficit down by *checks notes* spending £2 billion giving tax breaks for private education, creating a massive new deportation force and pledging to maintain pensioner benefits.

Also heard Tories saying how amazing her speech was.

She started with a video saying she’d tell the truth… then lied consistently all the way through.

***Delusion*** is why Tories are becoming extinct.

And they deserve it.
davidheniguk.bsky.social
Sorry, but if you're saying those implausible and shallow Kemi Badenoch announcements constitute a good speech then you're part of the UK's political problem.

Same half-baked "tax cut good / international commitments bad" bearing no resemblance to well formed policy.

It’s was great to speak to @mrjamesob.bsky.social about my book Viplanebook.com

We talked about the $2billion profit made by Innova following a referral onto the VIP lane by Dominic Cummings 👀

Its’s owner has now splashed the cash on $90m in private jets + mansions 🤷‍♂️

"15 years ago, Polish workers came here to find opportunity. Now Poland is growing twice as fast as we are," says Kemi Badenoch.

Any ideas what may have happened in the interim?

Labour have presided over a "doom loop of higher taxes, weaker borders and month after month of chaos" says Kemi Badenoch who was part of a government that raised taxes and immigration levels by record amounts, whilst changing leader no fewer than four times

Among the worse interviews I've seen a politician give. There is no way Badenoch can (or should) survive until May.

- Do you admire Nigel Farage?
- On what basis?
- Do you admire him?
- I don't understand your question.
- What do you think of him?
- Why don't you ask me about Ed Davey?" 😱 ~AA

Birmingham, my home city, is a fantastic city, with fantastic people- a success story. It has its problems, like anywhere. But the obsession the online right has with it is as transparent as it gets.

Things the Tories used to believe in… until Boris, Liz, Sunak, Kemi and soon to be Jenrick.

Democracy
Independent judiciary
Party of law and order
Fiscal responsibility
Strong government
Stable economy

They’ve sunk to the bottom.
They deserve to be wiped out.
