Hi everyone, I'm suddenly getting a lot of new followers which is lovely so please let me reintroduce myself 💖

I'm Dáire, I'm an artist based in Ireland. I work with themes of death and decay a lot. I paint and make comics, and my work is very narrative orientated. I love LotR and Elden Ring 🕯️

And after the fight with R she goes dormant after expending so much of herself. Feels a lot like post exertional malaise to me. Idk. She's just so important to me

ER gave me this fucking WARRIOR who is always in pain and her body is rebelling against her and literally quite fucking literally falling apart and she keeps going. And yeah you could get into the nitty gritty of they whys and such behind that but it doesn't take away from it for me. She is a force.

Idk man not to get even weirder in the hole but maybe the reasons I like soulsborne games so much is that I am a disabled person with chronic pain and here are games that give me characters with disabilities and pain and harrowing circumstances and /they keep going/ anyway. Malenia is so important

honestly fu** you if you think gazans are only allowed to ask for help to cover their very basic necessities when they’re starving or being killed, calling a gazan a grifter for trying to secure her education proves that you don’t see gazans as humans who deserve to live equally.

Miyazaki survived the bombing of Utsunomiya as a child. His family escaped in a car, but left a neighbor and her daughter behind to save themselves. Miyazaki regrets this, and said this has stayed with him and shaped his film making. He hopes his audience will learn the courage he lacked in 1945.
