Ghost Funk Orchestra - Danforth Music Hall

First time I have seen a mosh pit at a Jazz / Funk fusion show, they won me over

Rare architectural abstract photo from me, I usually never see them but The Well in Toronto had a cool roof

Closeout @ Sneaky Dees

I always bring my wide angle lens and almost never use it, quite happy without how the double exposure worked out though I should probably use it more.

This was Closeout supporting Whisper Gang, I was late getting there but enjoyed the set.

So I have been quiet work wise for quite a few years but I have been meaning to get involved more with discussing web related stuff.

Nicely timed is a surprisingly pleasant post about one of the features I was very involved in as part of a recent Firefox release

Firefox just fixed my biggest annoyance with web browsers - and it's a game changer
Firefox has proved it's still in the game, with a new search feature every browser should copy ASAP.

Toronto Islands were one of my favourite things to visit, creepy and surreal with everything being closed off season but very pretty. Also has a good view of the Toronto skyline

Whisper Gang @ Sneaky Dees

Fun way to end the week in Toronto, some really good bands at the local punk venue. They have a new single "Answers" out so go check it out.

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets @ Danforth Music Hall, Toronto

Best way to see a city while travelling is to go see some music, one of my favourite shows for a while and they will be in Glasgow next year

I’m not a great political analyst, but I do feel Labour have made a tactical error by opting to be cunts.

The Home Secretary says "we have become the destination of choice in Europe, clearly visible to every people smuggler and would-be illegal migrant across the world"

That is a factually untrue claim: the Home Office shows that the UK is fifth, getting 1/10 claims, while Germany gets 1/5 claims

Random bike wanders, nice thing about injuring my knee is that its easier to take photos of stuff on bike rides.

In hindsight it was pretty stormy looking to be so high up, but the view the other direction was very sunny.

On a big wheel at the bottom of Buchanan Street, a ride that is nowhere near exciting enough for the kids these days.

Also, mad that there is *still* not a decent web client that can support BlueSky and Mastodon together. Especially since apparently you just need to ask AI to code up an app for you these days.

Apropros to my last post I have an increasing number of prints that I would like to hang. Not a mismatched vintage frame type and find IKEA frames fiddly to use, anyone got recommendations for cheap, plain and very easy to hang / convenient photo frames?

Doing a print exchange (getting sent / sending random people prints) and these are the 3 I went with.

For all the time I have spent taking landscape photos its definitely the area I had the least choices I was happy with, but very happy with these ones
