ok i need recommendations for this year's books! the reason i was able to read so much in 2025 was through sheer determination to read the books my friends had recced to me and i would love to have that again. queer rep always preferred, SFF fave genres, but also want to read out of my comfort zone

I read 30 books in 2025! I've been in a bit of a reading drought recently so this felt like a huge achievement for me. thank you to everyone who gave me these recs at the start of the year, it has been so good to have a plan to follow... will be coming asking for more soon!
