one of the things I love most about Fix the News is that it shows that, despite all of these horrific people working together to make the world worse for the rest of us, there are SO MANY people out there doing the opposite. And that, to quote Gandalf, is an encouraging thought.

I think it’s time to put this one back out into the ether, friends

Come and learn about how the tropes undergirding anti-Jewish hatred and conspiracy theories as they exist today came to be…
The Antisemitism Post (tm)
Gotta get the history to know where the tropes live in the discourse today.

Hello network. This is real shit. I’m looking for transgender, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming front and back end web designers for a project to help trans people get housing in NJ. This is a paid opportunity.

Please share this if you see it, and my DMs are open for more information. Tysm 🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵

you know what phrase I would love to see fall out of the current lexicon? "trauma-dumping"

whatever happened to "oversharing" that didn't make people feel worse about being vulnerable? what if people WANT to hear about it? what if we didn't psychoanalyze every foible to death? what if we stopped

I think it’s pretty clear at this point that one of the main impacts of LLMs is to disrupt thinking: to make it so that far too many people never properly learn how to do it, and then to control the output so there are thoughts that people never learn how to think.

Turkey is DRY BRINED. I did it by myself this morning (usually T helps with turning it over, bagging it, etc, but she had to go into the office) and I feel VERY triumphant indeed 💪🦃

Today is the 20th anniversary of T & I meeting for the first time. TWENTY!! I was 23, she was 32, we met at a friend's place. She wanted to introduce us bc I was getting into due South & T was already WELL ESTABLISHED, as it were. She wore a pastel pink scarf and - of course, IYKYK - overalls. >>

Spoke to my source familiar with internal workings at Mastercard. The holiday call campaign re payment processor censorship is working, there is a lot of pressure being felt from your calls. This is resulting in increased response times at a core moment for Mastercard due to the holiday season

do you have any idea how much you have to piss somebody off to make them change their gauge
#Finland will begin to #Russia - proof its rail network, integrate with EU train infrastructure.

The Finnish government has announced the conversion of its rail network from Russian gauge (1,524 mm) to European standard (1,435 mm).

I heard there was a Cohen song,

And all the Christians got it wrong,

But you don’t really get the meaning do ya?

‘Cause you see its about getting laid,

It’s sex, and love, and Jewish faith,

But all the gentiles heard was “hallelujah!”
hey guys i made a seasonal meme

So a while back I was commissioned to do short bios of various rock stars, and they were just about universally total psychopaths, with the huge exception of Freddie Mercury. A lovely man who did good by his wife, his lovers, and his cats.
Today (24 November) marks the passing of Freddie Mercury, lead vocalist and pianist of the rock band Queen. He remains regarded as one of the greatest singers in the history of rock music.

If you can't afford to pay for books you want to read, getting that book from the library instead of pirating it enables authors to get paid for their work *and* lets you read the book for free. The Libby app is your BFF.
I posted a buy link here to "A Magical Inheritance" a few days ago, and 24 of you immediately went to Anna's Archives and fucking stole it from me.

Yes, stole it.

I do not get paid for your download there because YOU ARE STEALING FROM ME.

Ugh, I didn't know about this one. Of course it has all my books. Not only is that money I could use, but every sale helps those of us hanging on in the midlist keep publishing at all. Love to see hundreds of downloads on series that people complain haven't continued with more books. Yeah guess why.
