Listen to me, uncaring universe.

Listen.

May all those who harm others in the service of injustice find only in life exactly what their actions earn them. Harm for harm, unkindness for unkindness. May they find no grace, only raw justice.

Law enforcement, protesters clash as federal agents make arrests in St. Paul
Gov. Tim Walz said state officials were monitoring what he called a “chaotic” situation “and working to understand what unfolded. We received no heads up from federal authorities on this operation.”

I watch YouTube videos and have such envious yearning for the physical movement these YouTubers have. You can sew for more than 30 minutes? ENVY. You can walk your dog across an uneven field? ENVY. You can climb a ladder to hang pictures? ENVY. You can plant potatoes? EN-

well.

you get it.

Every once in a while I remember that it used to be a massive scandal with legal consequences for members of federal government to be revealed as Russian agents. Like. In my lifetime! Not that long ago! Our federal government used to root out, reject, and imprison Russian assets!

Weird, huh?

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World, is one of my favorite movies. On the rewatch list with Clue, The Haunting, The Fifth Element, and Band of Brothers. Things I find very soothing.

The REASON no sewing project takes as little time or is as simple as the directions is because ONE of the fucking instructions is IRON and it is EVERY OTHER goddamn STEP.

This round of promotions for "Do It" keeps putting Bang Chan in trucker hats. With the long bleached hair it creates a real "Chris Evans' truck-stop-hooker-photoshoot" vibes. (That's not him in the link image.)

I am attending a meeting debriefing the Tuesday federal kidnappings in my neighborhood.

There are over a hundred people here.

We will *not* allow our neighbors to go quietly. We will resist together.

As part of my air traffic hire I got an incredibly minor security clearance. I, too, took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States and to protect the nation from enemies foreign and domestic. And, like those members of Congress, that oath has not ended after retirement from service.

Say, I know Give to the Max Day is incredibly irritating.

Still, I hope a couple of y'all still have the wherewithal to throw five bucks toward giving books to the incarcerated.

Paying a lot of attention to local and national news, to organizing, to resisting authoritarianism, because it's a really pleasant distraction from how much pain I am in.

Autoimmune diseases suck, I do not recommend them.

Here are some reflections from folks in Chicago who have been resisting the occupation by ICE. Specifically, the actions taken at the Broadview holding station.

It's an interesting look at what worked, what didn't, and what even counts as "worked" in this context.
