Four years ago in February I nearly died. Due to relapsing polychondritis my trachea had grown 95% shut. I almost died during surgery to remedy this because they could not keep me breathing. I woke up in the ICU.
My wife and I spent five days in the hospital watching the winter Olympics.

My precinct caucus site is a high school. We overflowed three huge parking lots and all nearby streets. There is no parking.
Every precinct room in this building is standing room only. And some groups had to move to larger rooms.

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning.
