Hearing employees exercise ethical courage by choosing to blow the whistle on illegality & abuses of power still gives me the chills, followed by the will to keep fighting for them. #Whistleblowers like DOJ attorney Erez Reuveni are heroes standing up for the rule of law and democracy. Proud to help him and other employees of conscience defend their rights to tell the truth about illegality and abuses of power and seek justice for reprisal w/ my team @govacctproj.bsky.social
🗞️ THIS JUST IN: DOJ whistleblower Erez Reuveni says senior Trump official Emil Bove suggested defying court orders to carry out deportations.

Our team represents Reuveni—and what he uncovered is alarming.

@protectdemocracy.org is representing @govacctproj.bsky.social and NARFE in a lawsuit to protect the rights of civil servants--including their #whistleblower rights. Nonpartisan civil servants are guardrails against abuses; we ALL need them to be protected against retaliation for speaking up.
Protect Democracy & Selendy Gay PLLC, today, filed suit in U.S. Dist. Court of D.C. on behalf of the Government Accountability Project, and National Active & Retired Federal Employees Assoc., challenging the Trump Admin’s attempt to dismantle a federal civil service rooted in merit & integrity. 1/7
