No more turning away
From the weak and the weary
No more turning away
From the coldness inside
Just a world that we all must share
It’s not enough just to stand and stare
Is it only a dream that there’ll be
No more turning away

Fascinated to learn my older teens have already developed a sneering “kids these days” attitude about the kids coming up after them. Like, they think the future is doomed because younger kids grew up on screens, can’t hold actual eye contact or human conversation, and are now being consumed by AI.

Here's an issue from the Purdue Univ. student paper, The Exponent, dealing with the IU censorship of their student paper. Purdue put it in IU news boxes. (Purdue & IU are normally huge sports rivals.)

Someone got so sick of the crazy overgrown grass at the Judy Lowe Park they went rogue and mowed it themselves, but now hilariously it looks even worse.

The Alexandria, Virginia school board says it wants to “help students grow as journalists." Theogony's student journalists wonder who, exactly, the board is protecting.
