The attack in Manchester was horrendous. However, a few years ago someone drove into a Mosque in London, killing one worshipper & screaming that he wanted to kill Jeremy Corbyn & Sadiq Khan. He was protected by the Imam.
I don't recall that being seen as an existential crisis for Islam in the UK
