Did everyone know that certain grasshoppers turn into locusts when they’re crowded or stressed? Locusts aren’t their own species. (Okay, scientific oversimplification, but still…) Once they turn, they’re locusts until the end of their lifecycle. It’s like a proper comic book mutant scenario. Wild!

Old lady rant: I’m worried that lack of etiquette will be the true downfall of movie theaters. Sure, concessions and tickets are expensive, but they always have been. The new monster is post-Covid crowds who don’t seem to realize they’re not in their own homes. Cell phones, talking, munching. Ugh.

Grateful for Representative Hakeem Jeffries for standing up all morning against of the Big, Ugly Bill.
I’m prepared for the reality, but I’m still optimistic that elected officials on both side of the aisle will put the needs of America’s kids, elders and veterans over tax breaks for the rich.
