Introducing my fundamentals class to isometric drawing tonight so I have a legitimate excuse to talk about how I use it to figure out Minecraft builds. 🤓

The upside to "there are no established rules for crediting in the games industry" is this:
We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Sure! Mastercard, Visa, Stripe + Paypal are further restricting what kinds of perfectly legal adult content you can buy through their processor (they cracked down on itchio and steam over the summer, not to mention Patreon a few years ago). We're tired of them acting like dictators instead of tools.
I don’t happen to have a Mastercard, but can you remind me why I’d be upset with them if I did?

Thank you everyone for joining on today's dev stream! We not only made a few bits of decoration, we did code the armor to do the persona 4 shuffle in sync with the game music 🕺

To be unhinged and pathetically intense about your fun little obsessions and yearnings is actually very freeing and good for you.

The process of working on my All the Taurs mod!
The mod will let you customize your character and play as a centaur (I’ve been dreaming of something like this for a very long time, so I finally decided to make it myself, haha).

I love tinkering on this little project during my lunch breaks but it's very clear to me that I do not have a clear pipeline on how to export multi mesh animations and import them back into Godot properly..
Well shoot.
Both the Copy Location AND the Child Of constraint have issues with what I was hoping to do:

Create an object at location XYZ
Add modifier to "parent" it to a hand, influence 0.
Once I want to move the object, move the hand close and influence 1.
Move the hand/object combo.
Incluence 0.

Made myself something self-indulgement because I've been slightly demotivated lately, excuse the recent lack of art! Making this did fire me up a bit though!

Gargaj going into some detail about the tech stack in Umbra in here! umbra would not exist without him by the way and I definitely wouldn't have been able to shape it as well as I can now. It's very empowering to be able to be in charge of your own tech stack!
This little [pun intended] pet project has been one of my fragile little joys of the recent turbulent times; I've known Mulm for almost 20 years and always wanted to work with her on something, and seeing her happiness and excitement about this has been genuinely rewarding.
After one year of development the first milestone is done actually 😭 Holy shiiit. So for full context on how crazy this is, I have a long history of starting projects and running out of steam so the 1 yr milestone is..mad. I also did not know javascript and three.js was new to me 🫡

Alright! Let's actually talk about this waterfall thing. It is an amazing showcase of many things that I adore from late 90s/early 2000s graphics.
I am replicating this in Blender through mere observation, so some things might not be fully accurate to the mind-boggling effects of the PS1.

I just saw someone post awesome original art, and apologize for posting it because they'd previously posted it. Half a year ago. On a different social media site.

Repost your stuff! Post it again 12 hours later, because time zones are a thing. Post it a month later. (1/2)
