The Asian tigers are killing Japanese hegemony in the world. Korean dramas are replacing tokusatsu, K-pop is replacing J-pop, Chinese films are replacing Japanese films, anime is losing its space to shoddy animations from Korea and China.

I never thought #StrangerThings5 would implement the one long take like Alfonso Cuarón for Children of Men or Miguel Sapochnik for Game of Thrones, but this was definitely the right decision to properly convey the absolute mayhem of this battle scene.
It was really well executed as well. Nice.

I don’t fully understand the Max situation. How are her mind and body disconnected from each other? The situation seems different from Holly’s whose body and mind are both trapped in the Upside Down. But how? Could it be because of Eleven trying to save Max?

I think we can all agree Jonathan and Nancy are going through a difficult time but I really hope #StrangerThings5 doesn’t go the love triangle way. These characters have grown so much since season 1 and we are way past defining them for their romantic relationships. These characters deserve better.
