I was grateful to take part in the 33rd annual Stuff-A-Bus campaign on Saturday, supporting families in need. Calgary Transit partnered with Calgary Co-op and the Calgary Food Bank, with buses parked at Co-op stores across the city for Calgarians to fill with donations. 1/2

Great to connect ahead of budget week with nonprofit leaders through the Social Sector. Our Council team is focused on tackling today's affordability, safety, and housing challenges. With genuine listening and partnerships, we can strengthen the supports that Calgarians count on. #yyccc

For centuries, cities have been planned by and for able-bodied, gainfully-employed men.

Feminist urban planning isn’t proposing the opposite, but a model that considers all stages of human life, from infancy to old age, without giving greater importance to the productive-work stage.

Congratulations, Aryn! Welcome to the Hall!
Some news on the news: today is my second last day with @livewirecalgary.bsky.social, as I am about to step into a new role with Coun. DJ Kelly’s office at city hall come Monday.

It’s been an honour to share your stories over the past 4 years.

Today, I proclaimed Transgender Day of Remembrance in Calgary. We honour those we’ve lost, and we stand with resolve for a city where everyone can live safely and authentically. We will keep fighting for every person’s right to be who they are: openly, proudly, and without fear. #yyccc

One of the things Calgary's Mayor can do is issue proclamations - a ceremonial declaration to recognize and observe days of significance. This week, November 15-22, 2025 is recognized as Métis Week. Since before Alberta was a province within Canada, the Métis people were here

I was honoured to present my first White Hat as mayor to Mayor Richard Ireland of Jasper, replacing the hat he lost when the fire took everything. A simple gesture to show Calgary stands with Jasper, as our Albertan neighbours rebuild. #yyccc

Being able to join City Hall School again is enough of a reason to be back in the Mayor's Office.
It was a pleasure to host two Grade 6 groups attending City Hall School this week in City Council Chambers and through a tour of the Office of the Mayor. We talked about how someone gets to be the mayor, what we do in City Council and how grateful my colleagues and I are to serve Calgarians.

It was great to connect with you, Prime Minister. We value how you see cities like Calgary as partners in tackling the housing shortage, improving public safety, and growing prosperity for all. Working together, we can build a stronger future for every Calgarian and every Canadian. #yyccc
Had a good conversation with Calgary’s new Mayor @jeromyyyc.bsky.social yesterday about working together to build more homes, safer streets, and stronger communities — creating more prosperity and security for Calgarians and all Canadians.

From election night to the steps of Historic City Hall. It's a great honour to be asked to serve Calgarians as Engagment Manager for Mayor @jeromyyyc.bsky.social. I'm humbled by the opportunity.

I've been taking a different route to City Hall these days, otherwise I'd be counted in this number too.
We’re in the 11th month of the year and at 4 PM almost 1,100 people rode through this counter today on Calgary’s 5 St SW cycle track.

The annual counter maxed out its 350k limit over a month ago, and has maxed out before the year’s end for about a decade now.

I was grateful to be joined by my city council colleagues at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce’s State of the City Address.

The state of our city is that Calgary is rising, Calgary is growing and Calgary is competing. We have what it takes.

Cutest council meeting ever.
My council colleagues and I were thrilled to welcome the kids from City Hall’s daycare to trick o’ treat in Council Chambers today.

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Halloween!

Thank you, Calgary, for the opportunity to serve.

After a long run, this was a very, very special evening with friends and colleagues.
On Wednesday, October 29, I had the profound honour to be sworn in to office alongside my fellow Calgary City Council members. I am so grateful for the trust placed in me and my 14 colleagues by our neighbours.
