Anatomical differences!

My dreams are nonsensical and silly, and I find it entertaining to keep a dream journal. But I rarely remember them nowadays, so it probably wouldn’t change much if I lost them. On the other hand, I’m currently lying in bed restlessly after waking up in the middle of the night. I take the trade!

Yeah, it’s a normal thing to ask and I’m sure they’re totally used to it. Despite that, it causes me big anxiety and takes me hours to emotionally prepare for hitting send. I will try to stop overthinking it!

I despise asking for references. “Hey! I worked for you a couple years ago and we haven’t spoken since! Can I guilt you into taking time out of your busy day to say nice things about me? I’ll keep doing this from time to time, and it will be the only reason I ever correspond with you again!”

It’s a natural way to feel!

Sometimes I’ll read a message, fall asleep before replying, and then completely forget when I wake up. It happens embarrassingly often. Not everyone is a sleepy dummy like me, but that’s just one example of a non-angry reason why it could happen!
