This is what one of the biggest Diwali celebrations outside of India looks like.

It's easy to wear an extra jumper or gloves or a hat
If you are hot there is no escape
I love the verdant greens of fields after rain & the long shadows when the sky is clear
I love nourishing & warming soups
I hate horror movies & avoid the spooky tat🤣

For polls that use random samples, the odds are much, much smaller than people think. I do this for a living and I have never been selected for a national political poll. If you live in a swing state or competitive congressional district, the odds are higher but still, most people won't get surveyed

I recently asked a group of friends (all c60 years old) & none of us has ever been polled for our political views / brand awareness etc
How likely is it with so many polls taking place that they're truly representative yet not one of us has been surveyed?
(I estimated & found it very unlikely)
