Nenshi was a decent Mayor (I believe he would have rejected the arena) I've spent time with him and he is a nice guy. But his is full on a liberal. I can't seem him reversing or fixing the private healthcare issues.

yes they are and the only reason the system hasn't completely failed is because of the people working in difficult conditions. Added to that is the hatred the ppl of this province have for us. I've never seen this before, but since 2021, the majority despise us.

but the liberals have repeatedly order workers back to work, just ask the flight attendants. There is no political party fed or prov that has workers backs public or private. Neoliberalism doesn't have time for workers rights.

This government won't blink, they have proven that time and time again. This will not end well for citizens especially workers. I support a general strike, but I believe she will simply fire everyone.

@mcuban.bsky.social I'm gonna suggest you go and study social work. Not the counselling side but the social work side. Social policies and how they are effected by power, who they effect. If you can't figure out the answers to these questions you need a better education.

as I say, some are more or less pure but these value unpin all policy whether you see it or not. As for Farkas, him and Sharp or in the UCP's pockets, they hedged their bets to get someone in.

Prblms caused by individual failure & welfare state, welfare encourages ppl to be lazy & dependent, welfare state causes deviance, individuals and families are
responsible for their own well being, poverty is a necessary incentive etc. Con ideology is cruel period
