Agreed. News headlines about 'billions wiped out' etc. Every slight dip called a crash, while when it rises back to the level it was at, nothing is said. It's dreadful.

I've spent an inordinate amount of time trying to explain to friends that stock market slumps are actually *good* for us who are saving. Had a friend sell his entire pension pot to cash after one. Financial education needs to be a thing.
