The system of checks & balances has utterly failed. The people have to unite around shared class and work together to save themselves. Things will keep getting worse until there is large scale disruptive direct action and civil disobedience that doesn't stop until all the criminals in power are out.
When it comes to the United States, the enemy is not at the gate, it was welcomed with a red carpet, elevated to the highest positions of power, and now dictates policy from within. When the people you elected no longer represent you or the highest courts fail to protect you, who do they work for?

UK govt can save over £20bn a year by ending payment of interest on commercial banks’ central bank reserves.

Subsidy implemented after the 2007-08 crash. Banks are very profitable.

Since 2023, the EU stopped paying interest on central bank reserves.

UK can find better uses of £20bn+.

Labour Govt’s Budget Choices

Tax the rich; end tax abuse; end privatization of essential services; reduce poverty and inequality, and boost investment.

Without boosting purchasing power of the bottom 50% govts can't deliver sustained economic growth.

Will the Chancellor rise to the challenge.

Plan is to get 2m people working.

Little problem only 771,000 vacancies. (lowest figure as % of population ever)

Less than 400,000 are actually full time jobs.

People can't work jobs that don't exist.

Not true. Taxing wealth, ending banks’ tax breaks & reducing interest on the QE the BoE created would raise ~£50bn+

Notice how Welfare has moved down since the government and media have stopped demonising claimants.

What has Yvette Cooper’s proscription of Palestine Action done to this country?

Beyond absurd. It’s extreme authoritarianism. These police should be arresting rapists & crooks, not neglecting those duties to spend time arresting citizens standing against genocide.

It undermines police and the law.
