I loved the songs “Photograph” and “My Kind of Scene” hated the freshman song lol. Something similar happened in Orlando with Seven Mary Three with “Cumbersome” which originally was more acoustic in the vein of AIC Sap then they went full Pearl Jam re-recording it.

I looked up one day and they were on mtv and I was like wait aren’t those the guys no one liked? Same with Marilyn Manson. Florida in the 90s was weird man. Same when Matchbox 20 “reappeared” but not as Tabitha’s Secret. 3 doors down was another band that seemed to always be playing then boom.

He was always hacky. I had similar experiences with a band from Jacksonville named after a flacid baked good and am still shocked they had any fans especially given how most in the scene felt about them.
