Same here.

I thought my present WIP would be finished by November, but I cut it back from 75 to 4 thousand words.

I had a subplot and two extra characters that did nothing for the story.

Still hope for PWA because I know my characters so well, rewriting the same basic scenes is fairly easy.

Good news.

I bought an electric tea kettle that heats water to an exact temperature for my writing desk.

It glows a wonderful red while heating up and turns to green when done.

The best part - no more bitter tea because I boiled it to death.
