Good morning, it's a cloudy start to Saturday 25th Oct. All cloudy and just 7° here in #Glasgow. Plus I'm not feeling great. Sore throat and wee bit fluey.

I often wonder why people (learn to) play #guitar. They have no chance of making a hit record or playing in a popular band. House parties with strummers & singers are a thing of the past. It seems to be a hobby done alone and in private, which is fine, but why #shred? Why not #compose or whatever?

I have been back trying to play more guitar. I can feel the ends of my fingers sore again, I know this will go with more practice, but my finger joints suggest age and arthritis are on the cards. But if Keith Richards can keep going, I can too #music #guitar

I'm up unexpectedly for a Sunday! It's 18th October and at half seven it's still night time dark, dry and 9.6°. my phone app says it's 10° and cloudy. Time for coffee and the news. Have a lovely Sunday!

I agree. I'm trying to make an effort. I think if you make an effort, people see that you respect yourself and care about yourself, so they're more inclined to respect you, you know? I always wore a suit at work, and what a difference that made let me tell you

I also popped into Slaters (as I was in the area) to look at clothes, so we're shadowing each other! (Slaters is the nearest to tailoring as I get!) 😂

So was I. Went to a lovely gig of jazzy, funky, souly stuff in the merchant city. I also slept in! I had to go back in this morning to sort out crap at Barclays (they shut my local branch) this is the only one open on weekends (only till 1pm) and it had security, police & Palestinian Protestors! 😱🤷‍♂️

We're all back after a lovely night in Slay (the venue is more subterranean than a Wetherspoons toilet). Delvon Lamarr organ trio. Really enjoyed ourselves too. They basically jammed grooves. Hard off to Charles the guitarist 4 gigs in & drummer Chuck in his 2nd month. Good solid stuff.

That made me laugh. I also know a man with a really big conk. Always said he shouldn't swim on his back as he'd scare people into thinking there were sharks
