I watched new French thriller The Intruder (BBC Four, this weekend) about a Nanny from Hell. And all I kept thinking was, 'Peyton Flanders would eat you for breakfast. Or drop a greenhouse on you.'

No I didn't - good spot, though!

I review TV day in day out - and yet, I'm STILL rushing to make negative judgements about people on Celebrity Traitors based entirely on how this show has been edited. #CelebrityTraitors

If the new Netflix Cluedo-based game show doesn't use this end theme, then there really is no hope www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEH4...

Alan being a Traitor and so prominent means that this is like an extended episode of Changing Ends.Which is a good thing, obviously. #CelebrityTraitors

Can you just imagine? Let's hope it happens.

What we need is Bob Mortimer turning up as a surprise player in week 2 singing his song about killing people. #CelebrityTraitors

All of season 1 will be available on ITVX. But I don't yet know whether they'll continue showing the rest of the season on ITV1. With Lioness, they just aired the opening eps on "proper telly", so to speak, and then the rest was online.

I think E4 showed season 1 of Discovery.
davidebrown.bsky.social
No, they won't be. But they're still expected to perform within the percentages expected.

Mind you, Film4 and E4 show those JJ Abrams movies plenty, don't they? Must be a market for it. Probably an older demographic.

By "interesting", I think you might mean "really low".

Eps 1 and 2 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 1 will be on ITV1 on Sunday 19 October from 10.20pm. On proper actual telly. (Should have been Wednesday at 6.00pm but you can't have everything.) #StarTrek

Me too. I also remember him reading Rumpole of the Bailey - there was always some wild emphasis in the way he'd deliver a sentence.

Zero understanding from Kemi Badenoch that "go back to where they came from" is a phrase that has traumatised generations and will likely be doing so again now. Or maybe she has total understanding - I don't know which is worse.

Ha! That is exactly what would happen, yes.
davidebrown.bsky.social
Yes! Though I don't think George would approve of the current colour scheme.

All three lived within five minutes of each other in Chelsea. Love to think they were rubbing shoulders while shopping on the King's Road.
