Bit old though, aren't they? You've got to go young so the series has a bit of longevity to it. Otherwise you're casting people already past police retirement age.

That is all so true. I hadn't been thinking of it like that. But yes, people with disablilities as being something that needed to be "cured". That would definitely be highlighted now, you're so right.

They're the kind of films that don't seem to get made much these days. Medical thrillers. But also popular thrillers, in general. I'm hoping the success of The Housemaid changes that.

I've been watching it this morning. Stands up pretty well, I thought. Indebted to Coma, maybe. But I really like Hugh Grant in it. At one point he says to someone, "You're quite a creepy person, aren't you?", which I thought was a lovely line.

Well I’m certainly no fan of the Branagh films that came after but i do love the Ustinov films that came before.
