with some areas showing an alarming ratio of 1.3 million plastic particles per square kilometer.
This shift poses a threat not only to marine biodiversity but also to human health, as plastics enter the food chain

The politics of Jenrick, Farage and Tommy Robinson will guarantee national decline.

Even if we imposed all the most vicious, hostile, and arbitrary policies they want, our towns and villages will still suffer until we fund local public services rather than corporate tax breaks.
Our culture and heritage have been eroded, not by immigrants, but by Thatcherism and corporate greed.

The answer isn’t bitterness or scapegoating.

People are right to be angry with a rotten system that’s let them down—real patriotism means rebuilding our communities.

My op-ed piece for LFF. 👇
On patriotism and national decline
Prioritisation of corporate wealth and privatisation have threatened our heritage and eroded our culture far more than immigration ever has

I'd like to think that ministers & opposition politicians are aware of this before pressurising authorities into reversing safety advice.

Context: Club fans have been banned for property damage, protesters arrested for supporting peace.

Please make your vote count to provide, at least, the ability of terminally ill cancer patients to avoid the last painful, helplessly incapacitated period before death.
Thanks. I'm relying on empathetic MPs like yourself.
As a supporter who’s just been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer I’m incredibly scared that this won’t get passed by government in time. I desperately don’t want to have to endure what’s coming . But I don’t want to o spend my last months planning my suicide which can do often fail to work

Inequality [big wealth gap] is a fundamental societal issue.
An issue that can be alleviated & with justifiable reasoning.
An quicker fix than climate change mitigation, and not unrelated.

If we in Europe need to spend more on defence and military, which we do, then we finally need to start making sure that the richest companies and entities pay their fair share. If we're all in this together, then we all need to PAY for this together. No more peace on the backs of the poorest.

Almost all care homes forcibly closed between 2011 and 2023 were operated by for-profit companies.

Profits and care can't be combined.

With over 4yrs and a huge majority, why not stir it up? Pitch your tent defiantly on the liberal lawn, loudly reject the epic failures of Brexit and rightwing immigration ideology and see how many liberal votes you gain instead of chasing Reform into a toxic dead end?
