I'm the one dying out here not retaining or focusing on ANYTHING because I'm either mesmerized by the rhythmic knitting magic, or distracted trying to figure out what their power play is. You're saying "they get stronger while you get weaker." No!

Yes, I've been using a hybrid process for years, but been shifting more of the load to the traditional methods lately. Even digital drawing isn't perfect or always fixable-"oh great, when did I accidentally merge those two layers and couldn't see it because I've been zoomed in for 24 minutes?"

Well, yes, exactly. I feel like the knitting is the equivalent of a person swinging nunchucks around during a conversion. How am I supposed to concentrate and pay attention to what they are saying? Am I supposed to acknowledge the knitting? I don't know the etiquette!

It's my own dumb insecurity, but I take it as a passive aggressive move when someone is knitting while talking to me. Especially when they are knitting really fast.

Yes. This should be a basic requirement of learning the craft, and not just presuming that a person who writes can also write comics- it sometimes smacks of "oh, how hard can it be?" It requires specific knowledge in the same way a person who draws comics can't also just jump into clothing design.

Yes, "cruelty is the point" but they don't mind hearing that because it sounds cool and tough. The real point is they need an outlet for their unresolved sexual/daddy issues (down to a man), and ICE is hiring. This applies to the top office all the way down to the lowliest fail-cop foot soldier.

Any day now Trump's base will see Trump's dementia for what it is, but conclude Miller/Vance are doping the president up to control him (like that episode of Star Trek). Then the base will bust out in their best rodeo clown outfits with "Free Donald Trump" signs.
