How long does it take to get from the Plain of Pamir to Peking? So far it’s taken at least 49 days to cross the Gobi desert

Tonight’s New Avengers adventure was the classic episode Gnaws. A good example of of ripping off something that’s popular but clearly without understanding why it was popular in the first place.

However, it was better than Jaws 2

So, we all know that the second recording block of Shada was cancelled due to strike action - but the sets were planned out in full... What would it have looked like? Wonder no more!

More missing episode musings… making a list of episodes where we have no visual reference for what it looked like on screen. No episode, no clips, no telesnaps or other off screen photos.

Promo photos don’t count. I’m looking at it in terms of examples of the final, broadcast product

There’s something rather special and appealing about a Geordie poltergeist
Come with me back to my hometown of Newcastle for a truly chilling poltergeist case. It's 1997, and a house of disaffected goths are about to experience something that really will make their hair stand on end😱👻😱

Perhaps the Doctor Who Day surprises were that there weren’t any surprises after all?

So it’s Doctor Who Day. It’s a series that has stuck with me since 1993 and never left. Glad about that as it’s been a gateway to so many fab things and also lots of lovely friends I’ve made over the last few years.

But I will share a link to how it introduced to one of my most wonderful friends!

Target! is the best rated episode of The New Avengers according to IMDB. It’s a good episode but it’s not my top pick! But it’s looking rather gorgeous in 4K

For Doctor Who day I’d like to present the telesnap that really bugs me. Because I think it features something I feel the need to explain in great detail

And if you get that one, well done!

As we race to the end of Series B and head for Star One, I still think this is my favourite series of the four.

Even if the story arc in the second half makes absolutely no bloody sense story to story!

I’ll let it off as it’s so entertaining
