Have we always (in general) been so focused on work and earning or is it a moderm phenomenon?
Like, if you meet someone new and they ask, "what do you do?" You instinctively know they mean as a job.

I'm insanely bad at sleeping, so ive started trying ear plugs - throw enough @%#& and hopefully something will stick, right? - and im not sure if they've helped my sleep, but I have started having wild lucid dreams.
Is that a thing?
