Am I missing something? It seems like this is unfair because they didn't make pretty extraordinary accommodations to help out one athlete competing in different events.

Jazz OTD: The wonderful singer Freddy Cole recorded his February 15, 2008 set at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola at Lincoln Center, resulting in his album "The Dreamer In Me." It seems to have been a wonderful, deeply involved performance, and the title cut is amazing. #jazzsky

Jazz OTD: The calamitous financial outcomes of the ASCAP boycott, leaving many composers without radio broadcast opportunities, led Duke Ellington to scramble for new material. So on February 15, 1941, his orchestra cut the first recording of a piece by his young arranger, Billy Strayhorn. #jazzsky

Jazz OTD: Duke Ellington's February 14, 1940 recording of his timeless composition "Sophisticated Lady" with his "Famous Orchestra" wasn't his first (that had been back in 1933) of the piece, but it was one of the best. #jazzsky

Jazz OTD: Albert Ayler recorded two tracks (including "Zion Hill") and two outtakes for his remarkable album "Love Cry" on February 13, 1968. It was evidently the last one he recorded with his brother Donald, whose subsequent emotional breakdown had a devastating impact on Albert himself. #jazzsky

I was rooting for Saitama's own Ono Mitsuki to pull off the upset, but that third run by Choi Ga-on after her brutal fall and almost not taking her second run was one of the most remarkable, gutsy performances I've ever seen in sports.
