'Blue Light'

A wonderful morning shooting in the mist before work last year. Great memories feeling like I am lost in another world.

Namibia's east wind transformed the coastal dunes into an inferno of blowing sand. We went straight in! Blowing sand stung our feet, pelted our equipment, filled our eyes. But time stood still: We were immersed in intense beauty, gone too soon!

For me there is nothing as beautiful as mountains emerging behind clearing clouds. It is magical and ethereal, and can be so in infinitely many ways. Torres del Paine National Park, Patagonia.

More moving grasses on Stokksnes black sand dunes from last month. This one was actually unintentional camera movement, but I liked it so much I went back the next day to try and make some similar images with intentional camera movement!

It was a beautiful morning in South Africa's Cape Point Nature Reserve, a land of towering coastal mountains and vast inland planes, as the sun broke through clouds and painted it all in spectacular light!

More layer loveliness 🥰 Just love how the scene drapes downward

Just a single shot (no Photoshop) showing how the camera records what we cannot see with our eyes

'Sea Mist at the Strand'

A wonderful mornings sunrise when sea mist softened the horizon and the scene turned ethereal.

Taken on New Year’s Eve back in 2019, just months before the world went into lockdown.
