Witkoff has never been to Ukraine, though he seems to love spending quality time in the Kremlin.
You have to ask, why was Witkoff chosen for this critically important role of special envoy to Putin? He had no diplomatic or foreign policy experience. No education on those subjects. So of all people, why him? I think what we all surmised is clear - Putin wanted Witkoff.

Ravid and his editors did not err, or as this suggests, engage in anything conspiratorial in publishing a document that was leaked to them. The leak actually ended up blowing up in Trumpers' faces, in any event.
...and the leak went a Kushner-linked Israeli reporter: Barak Ravid, who wrote a whole book ("Trump's Peace") on Kushner's official project, the Abraham Accord, then in 2025 covered Kushner's unofficial work with Witkoff on Gaza negotiations. Only Kushner would leak to a Middle East specialist. 3/

The BBC is now so fearful of Trump that it edited a statement of opinion about Trump out of the broadcast of a speech by a respected historian. It is a measure of how dangerously pliant much of the press has become in the face of Trump's threats.
NEWS --> BBC confirms to me that they did edit a line out of historian @rutgerbregman.com's speech. It called Trump "the most openly corrupt president in US history."

BBC also confirms this was done on the advice of lawyers. So Trump's threats worked.

Complete hooey.
Question about the dissent by (the far-right) Justice Ziegler: Does this quote actually appear in Moore v. Harper? Did Moore say that state courts' role in congressional redistricting is "exceedingly limited"? I don't think it did! vhdshf2oms2wcnsvk7sdv3so.blob.core.windows.net/thearp-media...

A nod, nod, wink, wink is not even required anymore, given that right wing Justices also have a penchant for altering the facts where necessary to support their desired outcomes.
This is the same playbook the Trump administration ran in Portland, where DHS officials falsely accused local police of failing to help them (or not arriving quickly enough). Strikes me as a problem that the government lies so freely to the Supreme Court now. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/25/u...

Whitaker - like Putin - claims Russia has a "strong" position on the battlefield. In fact, Putin's "conquered" one percent of Ukraine during 2025, in return for hundreds of thousands of casualties - but demands that Ukraine hand over territory Russia can't conquer with arms in return for "peace."
