Feel lucky. In Alaska, that would be for the basics. Milk, flour for bread making, eggs and fresh fruit and veggies with no meat.

I don't want to be told that Labour are 'looking' at the well paid jobs of the future, I want know exactly what they are, where & when they'll be delivered, how much 'well paid' will actually mean.

We, & our kids need a solid vision of where we're heading. Not vague, airy fairy nonsense.

The richest 150 people in the UK get £120,000,000 richer every single day, and that's not share value.

That's profit stolen from you through the Banks, Energy Companies, and Supermarkets they own.

But the problem is someone getting £10 on Universal Credit?

OK with this potential Reform voters? - Because this is what Farage wants for our NHS! It will be totally unaffordable for most UK citizens.

In the end I designed the forms to use to import our belongings from France to the U.K. HMRC agreed to us using them. HMRC folk were lovely and very apologetic for not having answers.
The moral of the story. Never assume a gov. or gov. dept. knows what it is doing just because they are in charge.

Where is the UK democracy when the government can just change judges in an important case about that government's misuse of power without repercussions???

This rant from the British newspaper columnist and broadcaster Melanie Phillips is insane. It is hateful. It is nauseating. And it is instructive.

Quick analysis of The Times today:
Wall to wall negative coverage of Labour’s budget. An editorial that tuts about lack of growth but takes no responsibility. And a double page ad to join Farage/Reform.
Absolutely no analysis on how rightwing ideology - including Brexit - has been utterly ruinous.

Given that the BBC endlessly gives platforms to lobbyists from the dark money junktanks without revealing their interests, shouldn't we be seeing such apologies every day?

Better still, how about not doing it? If they want to appear, we should know on whose behalf they are speaking.

Police didn’t arrest any activists in Northern Ireland protesting the proscription of Palestine Action at the weekend, in stark contrast to in other parts of the UK. Why? Ellen McVeigh reports.
