I haven’t seen many photos of this goal. ⚽️ Mick Lyons heads the equaliser to make it 2-2 in the second replay of the League Cup Final in 1977. The match against Aston Villa was played at Old Trafford in front of a crowd of 54,748. We were in the Stretford End which was packed with Everton fans ⚽️

If your target is to really improve, you surely start with Barry & have Beto on bench. Neither is anywhere near (yet), the real deal Why? One has real scope for improvement (22 & trajectory) & re-watch 2nd goal v Brighton. Love Beto's attitude but he is not going to improve himself/team much #EFC
