Unfortunately it will take more than 7 million out on the streets every few weeks protesting to change things. Much more. All that means is 333 million stayed home and couldn't care less.

Scary. Read an interesting post about Nazi lawyers this morning drafting the Nuremberg laws in 1934. They discussed America's Jim Crow laws as an example to follow. Apparently it was discarded because they were considered "too extreme"...by Nazis.

I have no doubt next year's mid terms will be stolen and rigged. That is why Americans need to be out protesting in the streets now, in much larger numbers and every day. They are so unaware what is happening in their own country.

If the Democrats take control of the Senate and Congress next year things can change. They can impeach not just Trump but others as well who violated their oaths. But that is next year.

I think the problem is that everyone thinks the problems will go away by getting rid of Trump. The rot and corruption in the Republican party goes deeper than Trump. Much deeper. Political donations have corrupted most American politicians.

Just learned that the US poverty level is based upon the price of a cart of groceries per person. The price was originally set in 1963. It has not been changed since then. Apparently updating it would be too "socialist" for the US.

Most politicians are far removed from what most people do for work regardless of what shift they are on. The average politician would most likely have their employment terminated before the end of the first day.

Republicans have always hated the poor. They believe everyone should work as hard as necessary to support themselves. All while ignoring the fact that poverty and slavery has been exploited to build wealth.

A report was issued after the first deportations to El Salvador by an an organisation that researches and documents mass graves. The report included satellite images of freshly dug mass graves being prepared where the deportees were sent.

The America they knew never really existed in the first place. In reality it has always been 2 seperate countries...a progressive north plus west coast and a regressive south dominated by rascism and religion.

Right wing conservatives do not realise how out of touch thier policies are with the majority of people. For too long they have only been interested in thier own self interest.

Yet this is what America has become. Although in reality these views have always been present in America. It is just that now people can say them publicly without any consequences. I seriously doubt America will ever go back to being a kinder, more caring society.
