bad people can and often do make good art. attacking the art as retroactively subpar to free yourself of moral dilemma and give yourself permission to not care means you're innately equating quality of art as representative of moral virtue (it's not) which is how you get purity culture

I see so many people complaining that they get labelled as sexual content with fully visible sexual organs. I understand they are not USED in act on the picture, but that it still a private part showing. You won't get punished for nsfw labels, but lets users choose what to see, it's not censoreship
It's great to protest, credit cards and puritanistic aligned mentalities have no right to dictate our art or self expression. I stand by it.
But there's nothing punk or cool about throwing nsfw on people's faces and not tag your art. Bsky tools are perfect, not opression or censorship

my adult advice today is that a lot of grown ass people need to learn that a conversation involves listening to the other people speaking and ingesting their information before responding. it is not just waiting for your turn to speak. and the sooner you realize youre doing it the better

you have to learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. you absolutely need to learn how to deal with discomfort or it will make your life so much more difficult. if you always allow yourself to crumble or flee the minute things are difficult or unsettling, you'll never learn to overcome them.
