I just walked home from my pain clinic appointment, in 18° sunny weather and it felt good. My body feels all tingly. I've been dealing with a lot of fatigue and neuropathy pain but I was so proud of my 20 minute walk. I've been feeling so down, I needed this rush of feel good feels. 🌞🥶😎💗

Today marks the 10th anniversary of the murder of Tamir Rice, an innocent 12-year-old who was playing in a park near his home when he was shot by a Cleveland Police Officer deemed unfit for duty just two years prior.
Tamir should still be alive today.

Sending you lots lof love. It's a hard choice to make. I have been on SSDI for awhile now, it was hard to accept that there were things I could no longer do or at times I felt I wasn't disabled "enough" to go on it.

It's funny that people seem to think that chronically ill people are only allowed to have one illness. If you tell someone that you have multiple chronic illnesses, they'll look at you suspiciously and say something like "you have x illness?", "but you told me that you have y illness" as if you can't have both. Just wait until you tell them about z illness and the rest of the alphabet of disorders you have.

At the cancer center today, here for an oncologist visit and treatment. I'm feeling drained but that's because I am also deep in the throes of a bipolar depressive episode. It's hard managing multiple illnesses.
