Disturbing dream in which I was a teenager again, had just started going out with Buster Bloodvessel ( thanks @unclemonkeysalop.bsky.social ) from Bad Manners, and was taking him to meet my Mum and Dad. Where did THAT come from?! 🤷‍♀️

This is the most beautiful Mistle Thrush song I have ever heard!

What made it even more magical was the fact that it was gracing a new collaborative nature project in Nechells.

It’s worth taking 26 seconds just to heal the mind and enjoy the wonder of Brum’s birdsong 😎👌

The sun came out and so up the Lawley we went! That killer of a steep climb right at the end gets me every time but it’s always worth it #Shropshire

Children's books should have a list of characters at the start, along with suggested voices or accents. I don't want to get two-thirds of the way through a book I'm reading for my daughter before I discover that I should be doing a Scottish accent for one of the characters.

Watching the wonderful Yes, Prime Minister, and found this quote from the most excellent Paul Eddington, which is I think lovely: ‘Most people seem to me to do a great deal of harm. If I could be remembered as having done very little, that would suit me.’
