The Traitor8 have been out there all day trying to explain it all, and they sound like the quislings they are. Tim Kaine has been especially belligerent and “fake news” to legitimate questions. They should never enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.

I still somehow am shocked when white men treat me like I’m old and stupid. It actually takes me some reflection to realize that’s what’s going on.

In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."
The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.
And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.

I can't tell you how many interviews I've done where I've been asked: If Trump's policies are so problematic, why are U.S. stocks rising so rapidly.
A bit of international context illustrates the real issue here.
U.S. stocks have dramatically underperformed other advanced economies.

I got back to my office after the vote last night and recorded this. There's no way to sugarcoat what happened. And my fear is that Trump gets stronger, not weaker, because of this acquiescence. I'm angry - like you. But I choose to keep fighting.

Tonight, the Whigs come to mind. Their internal divisions over enslavement created the lack of a unified stance, and they were unable to mobilize further support. The Democratic party leadership is no longer viable. I wonder where it will take us?

These people are cowards. What did they put us through this for? People actually can’t pay for their ACA. They can’t do it.

I am once again saying that we saw what wall to wall, panic coverage of a crisis looked like after the Biden debate and there’s no reason Trump isn’t getting that kind of coverage except for class solidarity.
So the oldest person ever to become president keeps falling asleep in his office during public events and there’s no big public discussion on how this is a coverup or how republicans are lying to us about how this government is running?

I can’t answer that. The wind is at their backs and he will be primaried. He is doing nothing but ginning up the mob who’ll follow him everywhere. It makes no sense for the caucus or for himself.
Is there a particular reason that Schumer is so bad at his job? Like it’s amazing how oblivious he is to well, seemingly everything.

Now is the time to stand fast Democrats. Don’t keep giving up the hill when you’re halfway there.

I know we like to say “you voted for this” and they did. No question. But also, the likes of Facebook algorithms, X, and YouTube have been pushing misinformation at these people for years. Plenty thought they were going to get help, but they aren’t so dumb they don’t know they’re dying for him.

Senate Dems, do not cave. Ensuring healthcare premiums don’t surge is an 80-20 issue. They want to gut the ACA because their disdain for Obama far outweighs their concern for anyone’s health.

There was decent evidence, pre vax, that simply wearing a mask could bring COVID-19 under control. Some Americans seemed troubled by this prosocial act. I do think deeply exploring the phenomenon, where the likelihood to engage in prosocial behavior is the dependent variable, is still worth it. 🧪

Apart from the trauma of legal immigrants to this country being treated like dogs, there are many good citizens like teachers and social workers who are experiencing secondary trauma. Much like frontline healthcare workers in COVID. This damages mental health, and hurts families and relationships.
