I was wondering why the hell #HeatedRivalry is barely stocked here in Portland. We have Powells, a queer bookstore, a romance bookstore. I went to a few hoping there'd be a display and sad to see nothing to almost nothing in stock

Turns out it's back ordered AF. Even on Amazon it's saying 4 weeks

While it's still adapted for modern audiences, someday I will break and become a video essayist just to explain the historical context of Murder of the Orient Express and how it's very ripped from the headlines. It's based on a popular theory about a murder case. Christie was messy with that one

Writers, if you are refencing Portland make it clear which one. The US has two prominent Portlands. It's not like Miami where you can safely assume Florida and not Ohio unless otherwise stated

Yeah, setting up the Scott and Kip thing makes sense. I read HR first and was like 'wtf? Who are these people?' I think HR is intended to be read with the reader knowing that a certain canon event is on it's way.

I think it's good! For people who know the book, there is a lot referenced. For people new, there's a lot of tension, but they aren't going to know that's the photoshoot scene, that's the draft, etc I am pretty impressed with the trailer

That's a bit worrying, if it's partially pressure from the coach/system and not just bad luck. Hope things start shaking out better.
